The district offers a wide range of facilities for education, sport and recreation, shopping and career opportunities. Plus nearby is the unique and beautiful Kaurna Park wetlands, a home and stopping point for many birds and fauna.

Other local reserves, walking trails and cycle paths add to the beauty of the area. Lifestyle is a key element of the entire suburb. And so too, is the local community spirit.

Now - at Sanctuary Gardens - you too, will be able to enjoy this superb lifestyle.

Visit the Old Spot Inn, a pub established around 1849 and recognised today as one of the most important historic locations in what is essentially a modern suburban environment.
Put on your walking boots and head out along the Little Para Trails as part of the Just Walk It campaign, an initiative of the National Heart Foundation and the Department of Environment, supported by the City of Salisbury.
Take the family to the Playground in the Square, part of the Come Out Australia Festival for young people.

The Kaurna Park Wetlands & Nature Trail.
The Kaurna Park, recently created from degraded farming land, is part of a unique complex.  Lying adjacent to Sanctuary Gardens, this is now a beautiful self-sustaining natural filtration and water treatment system.  A winding trail with a series of boardwalks takes visitors across a series of channels through native flora and fauna.
