As of today, Thursday, 13 January 2011, based upon information received from
all associated builders and land developers, Premium Lifestyle Group can
advise that none of our client's houses have been affected by the flood waters in South East Queensland. This includes housing estates in Wakerley,
Manly, Morayfield, Deception Bay, Burpengary, Kallangur, Redcliffe, Bray
Park, Redbank Plains, Brassall, Holmview and Coomera.
We, like everybody, watched with total amazement, shock and horror as the
events and pictures of the flood disaster unfolded in Brisbane. It seems
the worst is now over, fingers crossed.
The due diligence prior to estate selection, the developers adhering to the
local authorities' town planning regulations and site placement, has held us
in good stead. Much of the credit must go to the authorities and land developers. Unfortunately, it seems the older suburbs have been the worst
hit. Today, all new developments, in the Brisbane area, are constructed to
withstand a "Once in a Hundred Year Flood Event". Those regulations and
designs were tested to the extreme over the last few days and appear to have
succeeded. Without such laws the situation would be much worse.

ok.
